What to do
The Cape Region around Somerset West is one of the exceptional and most varied areas in the world!! Mediterranean climate, wonderful summer with minimum rainfall. A fresh sea breeze makes hot summer days with over 30 degrees comfortable. Even on sunny winter days the temperature rises up to over 20 degrees. The region is malaria free. Through out the whole year the nature shows all the abundance of colour and perfection. Especially from September to October the spring flowers seem to explode in a firework of colour.
